Overview & Autobiography

A Rite of Passage entails basically 3 parts, and then the reintegration with our new orientation afterwards in community. When you embark on a Rite of Passage, you are on a journey to complete a part of your life with acknowledgement and community celebration! In our society we have learned to just flow along without these transitions and “markers” in our lives. We miss so much for ourselves and our loved ones.

We long to be seen in a new way, we long for connection with the powers of the earth, sun, the ancestors & nature!

As the Great Wheel of life keeps turning us more and more into ourselves, lets take the opportunities to Celebrate ourselves and serve each other in Rites of Passage circles!! It will feed our inner world, and place our feet in connection to what is Real.

We start with the Autobiography work, because we must articulate and name what is passing, indeed, what has passed so that eventually we can honor those experiences.

This program has a 6 month minimum preparation using Internal Inquiry through Art Process, small group sharings, guided imagery, and eventually making Ritual Art Medicine Tools. These tools will be taken to the Enactment weekend.

The Enactment weekend entails 4 days in nature with our Elder/mentors, the facilitators and the other initiates with a culmination celebration in which our extended small community comes to celebrate with us. It is a very potent time when we use the Ritual Art Medicine Tools that represent our inner processes. The magic of ritual is experienced, witnessed and complete on the earth, under the sun in nature.

When we go to our Vision Quest night to pray, we are asked to stay awake to ourselves so that we may gain insight upon the Dawning of the New Day for our new living to come.

Thank you for stepping in, now let’s have some fun.
